R&D
Filling the knowledge gap between two separate groups, bridging together distinct disciplines for a common goal of collaboration.
3D communication is way of conveying an idea or concept using 3D illustrations and animations.
We can break the barriers between disciplines and explain the esoteric with the use of 3D communication.
Using 3D assets, the viewer is able to connect on multiple layers with the subject, because it looks like what they are accustomed to seeing, is accurate, and therefore engaging.
Traditional forms of communication solely relying on linear 2D storytelling, rooted in video presentation or slideshows tend to lack something, and tend to miss making a lasting impression on the non-linear spatial makeup of humane thought and memory. Assuming your audience will stay awake for your presentations, the low level of engagement precludes useful recall. For the transfer of critical information, this becomes an issue.
Our approach combines, visually stimulating 3D models, narration and call-out text to inculcate the message. Being able to use 3D models allows us to control what we want the viewer to focus on. With a model it is much easier to concentrate areas of focus by muting certain materials in one place, or being able to completely remove walls, cut through objects and clutter. In this example we created an animation that illustrates how this water filtration system operates.
The animation and illustrations were used as part of trade show exhibit, and later integrated into a marketing piece. The scientist did not want to give away certain details, but did want to communicate that this water cleaning system is easy to install, cost effective and is the best alternative for hot tub water filtration.
